The same thing happened when she attended the Ambani wedding. Haroon Rashid addressed these things and he reminded people that Aishwarya has done a lot of work for Indian cinema to make it global. He said, “Kim Kardashian posted a selfie with Aishwarya. Gigi Hadid did the same thing last year as well, which goes to show that years before anybody else, Aishwarya Rai really was the first Indian superstar to make it global, to be on that international map, to be recognized by international celebrities who might not speak the language, who might not know any of these films or any of these celebrities, but they knew Aishwarya Rai.”
