Mentioning that the couple has been facing problems for years in their marriage, the source stated that now the matter has gone out of their hands. The source can be quoted as saying:

“It is for their child that Abhishek and Aishwarya are still together. They have been having problems for years. Now matters have come to a head.”

The source close to the couple also shared that Aishwarya stays in a completely segregated space in the Bachchan house with her husband, Abhishek.
