On November 5, 2023, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a solo appearance at Manish Malhotra’s Diwali bash. In a viral video, doing rounds on the internet, Salman Khan was seen hugging a lady dressed in a red suit at the celebration. Soon, netizens started claiming that the woman in the video was Aishwarya Rai, which soon broke the internet. The duo was seen lost in each other’s embrace, but the face of the lady was not clearly visible in the viral video.

However, the woman in the viral video is not Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Reportedly, Salman was seen hugging Sooraj Pancholi’s sister, who also arrived at the bash wearing a traditional red ensemble. Talking about Aishwarya’s look for the event, she opted for a red-hued sharara set, featuring gold embroidery on its sleeves, neckline and hem. She paired her traditional ensemble with a matching dual-toned dupatta. Glam makeup, minimal accessories and an open hairdo completed her look.

Soon after, the video was shared on Reddit and created a lot of stir on social media. However, netizens were left shocked to see the ex-couple allegedly sharing a hug at the bash. Another user penned, “Sometimes our sub is crazy, and we put our feet in our own mouths, but hum saath saath hai most times, not always.”
