Shweta Bachchan Reveals The One Habit Dad, Amitabh Hates In The Bachchan Women, ‘He Doesn’t Like…’

In Navya Naveli Nanda’s recent podcast, Shweta Bachchan revealed the one habit of the women in the Bachchan family that Amitabh Bachchan hated.

The second season of Navya Naveli Nanda’s podcast, What The Hell Navya, is out and in the recent episode of the series, Navya’s mom, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, shared some tidbits about the Bachchan clan. The show, hosted by businessman Nikhil Nanda and Shweta Bachchan’s daughter, Navya, features her along with her mom, Shweta and grandmother, Jaya Bachchan.

Shweta Bachchan reveals what Amitabh Bachchan hates

In one of the segments of the show, Shweta Bachchan revealed how her dad, Amitabh Bachchan didn’t like the women in the Bachchan clan cutting their hair. Shweta revealed that she used to cut her hair short, and it wouldn’t go down well with her father, Amitabh. Elaborating on the same, Shweta stated:

“He hates it. Even when I ever cut my hair, he’s always like, ‘Why did you do it?’ He hates it. He likes long hair. He doesn’t like it when any of us cut our hair.”

In the same podcast, Navya also revealed the hair care ritual Jaya followed on Shweta’s hair. Speaking about the same, Shweta mentioned how the veteran actress would apply onion juice to the former’s hair and how she hated it. Agreeing with Shweta, Jaya said:

“I could smell it at the front door.”

Shweta Bachchan recalled Abhishek Bachchan cutting a chunk of her hair

While recalling her childhood days, Shweta remembered how once Abhishek cut a chunk of her hair. To this Jaya laughed and said that Abhishek did the same from the centre of Shweta’s hair. Revealing the reason behind doing so, Shweta shared:

“We had a fight. Parents were out at night and we had some kind of argument. I don’t know how he found a pair of scissors, and he just caught my hair and he just…I had to go to school with that. Nani would put pins on my hair.”

Shweta also elaborated on the daily morning routine when her mother, Jaya would braid her hair before she left for school. Recalling getting whacked by Jaya, Shweta said:

“Nani used to do my hair every morning before going to school. I used to get so many whacks on my head with the comb, ‘Sit straight, sit straight’. Braiding my hair tight and then that loop hairstyle.”

When the power siblings Abhishek and Shweta graced the couch at Karan Johar’s show, Koffee With Karan season 6, they revealed many family secrets and inside jokes. On the same show, junior Bachchan confessed that their father, Amitabh Bachchan is more fond of Shweta as compared to him. And Shweta had revealed how their mother, Jaya Bachchan’s favourite child, has always been Abhishek.
