Kareena Kapoor, who married Saif Ali Khan in 2012, often shares glimpses of their family vacations on Instagram. The couple, who shares two sons, recently celebrated their journey together in a heartfelt interview. Kareena reflected on how her marriage to Saif has made her more responsible and grounded.

Kareena Kapoor chia sẻ về cuộc hôn nhân của cô với Saif Ali Khan.

“Marriage has changed me for the better. We feed off each other. If he grounds me, I ground him. If I am going a little crazy, he will always tell me and vice versa,” Kareena told The Week, as the couple prepares for their 12th anniversary this October.

Discussing the difficulties of their dual acting careers, Kareena acknowledged the strain it can place on their relationship. She shared an example: “Of course, it is tough. He came home at 4:30 in the morning, was sleeping when I left for work, and then he left for a shoot. I’m flying to Bangkok tomorrow, so we won’t see each other even though we live in the same house. Balancing time is difficult. We sit down with the calendar to plan our days.”

Despite their hectic schedules, the couple relies on each other for advice. Kareena joked, “I don’t know if he takes my advice.” She also revealed her role as a tough critic of Saif’s films, lamenting that he hasn’t watched her latest movie, Crew. “He’s been shooting, but I have to see all his films,” she added with a laugh.

Kareena humorously detailed their frequent squabbles over the AC temperature. “We surely fight over the AC temperature because Saif wants 16 deg C because he is feeling hot all the time and I am like, ‘Saif’ and he is like ‘I know people have got divorced because of AC temperature’. So he wants 16 and I want 20, and he be like let’s settle for 19, which is not too bad. And every time Karisma comes home and we are having dinner, Lolo slyly changes the temperature to 25 and Saif is like, ‘God! Thank God I am married to Bebo, because at least she settles for 19.’”

Another common cause of their disagreements is the lack of time together. “We mostly fight over not seeing each other enough. It’s not about money, but the time we miss spending together. Sometimes, I just fight with him because he lets Taimur stay up late,” she admitted.
