Recently, Sonu Sood shared a tweet for which the actor received severe backlash. The actor shared a video of a man using his spit to make rotis. Sonu shared the same and wrote, “Our Shri Ram Ji ate the sour berries of Shabri, so why can’t I eat them? Violence can be defeated by non-violence my brother. Humanity must just remain intact. The Tanu Weds Manu star tweeted that Sonu Sood will direct his own Ramayana based on his own research about God and religion. Kangana Ranaut wrote, “Next, you know, Sonu ji will direct his own Ramayana based on his own personal findings about God and religion.” Wah kya baat hai Bollywood se ek aur Ramayana.” A few hours after Kangana posted this, Sood reacted to her statement.

The Happy New Year star revealed that he never excused those who spit on food. Sonu Sood pointed out that it is their character and they will never change; hence, they should be given severe punishment for their actions. Furthermore, Sonu said that humanity should persist, no matter what. According to the actor, we should use the time we spend explaining to each other to help those in need. Sood also expressed his strong support for the UP government, referring to every house in the states of UP and Bihar as his family. “Remember, no matter what state, city, or religion, if you need anything, let me know. The number is the same,” the actor wrote.

Meanwhile, even netizens were unhappy with Sonu Sood’s tweet, comparing the man’s act to Shabri’s Ramayana episode in the main tweet. One person slammed the actor by writing, “Sonu, nonsense is at its place and truth is at its place, the one who makes this roti is neither Mother Shabari nor are you Ram?
