Terence Lewis says Karisma Kapoor worked hard, Kareena Kapoor had everything 'kept for her' in Bollywood | Exclusive

In an exclusive conversation with DNA, Terence Lewis opened up about his experience working in India’s Best Dancer 4 and also made a comparison between Karisma and Kareena Kapoor’s journey in Bollywood.

Terence Lewis was seen dancing with Karisma Kapoor on her hit song in the first promo of India’s Best Dancer season 4. When asked about his experience sharing the stage with the actress, Terence said, “Karisma is an OG when it comes to the dancing in the 90s where she and Govinda rocked. All the hit songs featured her and Govinda. She is such a hardworking girl. She brings a lot of warmth and I think she has a lot of knowledge specially when she takes care of the entertainment factor. She is understandably the entertainment queen, she understands what entertainment is. So, at the end of the day, even it is technically great, even if it is new choreography, the audience should enjoy it and she looks after that part. She does a great job of that.”

He further made a comparison between Karisma and Kareena Kapoor’s journey in Bollywood and talked about how it wasn’t an easy road for Karisma in the industry, unlike Kareena. The choreographer said, “Though she is from the industry, she didn’t have the easy way out, unlike Kareena Kapoor who had everything walked, kept for her. I always say Karisma walked so that Kareena could run, fly.  So Karisma did all the hard work and I think she is very humble and I really love her for the sincerity and passion that she comes with for judging.”

Karisma Kapoor went against the wish of her father to become an actress and made her mark in the industry. Kareena Kapoor followed her and became a successful actress in Bollywood. Karisma recently made her OTT debut with Murder Mubarak, while Kareena is currently garnering praise for her performance in Crew.
