Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been married to actor, Abhishek Bachchan for 16 years now. The diva has beautifully managed her personal and professional life. Moreover, Aishwarya has maintained her image of being a dignified bahu of the Bachchan family. Aish and Abhishek have been rumoured to have separated from one another for some time now, but they haven’t addressed the constant rumours.

Amid the rumours of the alleged family feud between the Bachchan clan, we have got hold of an old video showcasing the cold vibes between Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. In the video, the saas-bahu duo were seen twinning in a white-hued suit paired with a matching dupatta as they got out of the same car. They were also accompanied by Amitabh Bachchan, who walked ahead of them.

 

However, what caught our attention was that as Jaya and Aishwarya were walking together, the former acted as a typical saas and was seen giving her bahu some instructions. Later, Jaya was even seen giving Aishwarya a cold stare, which the latter chose to ignore. Aishwarya didn’t even utter a word and continued walking while maintaining her dignity in front of the paps who clicked them.

Earlier, a video of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan featuring her cute bonding with her mother-in-law, Jaya Bachchan, made rounds on social media. In the video, Aishwarya, her husband, Abhishek Bachchan, mother-in-law, Jaya Bachchan, and father-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan, wore matching white-hued clothes. However, what caught our attention was that the former Miss India could be seen forcing her mother-in-law to show off her finger while they posed for the camera.

During her appearance on the popular chat show, Koffee With Karan, in 2007, Jaya Bachchan was asked if she discussed her problems with bahu, Aishwarya Rai, after her daughter, Shweta Bachchan got married. To everyone’s surprise, Jaya lauded Aishwarya and mentioned how the latter stays grounded despite being a successful diva. Jaya could be quoted as saying:

“She is lovely. I love her. I have always loved her. I have never ever seen her push herself whenever we are all together. I like that quality of hers to stand behind. She is quiet. She listens and she is taking it all in. And another beautiful thing is that she has fitted in so well in the family. She knows who are our good friends.”
