Abhishek Bachchan wanted his wife to stay with his parents at their family home, Jalsa. However, Karisma Kapoor was reportedly against it, while Aishwarya Rai welcomed the idea with open arms.
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are one of the most loved couples in B-Town. Of late, rumours are rife that the duo is reportedly heading for a divorce, and that Aishwarya has moved out of her in-laws’ house, Jalsa. Amid all this, an old report has surfaced online, wherein it was revealed what attracted Abhishek to get married to the ever-so-gorgeous Aishwarya instead of Karisma Kapoor.
Abhishek Bachchan and his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were reported to move out of Jalsa
Back in 2018, Abhishek Bachchan and his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, bought a new swanky apartment spread over 5,500 square feet worth Rs. 21 crores in Mumbai. Soon, the buzz started that the duo might move out of Amitabh Bachchan’s house, where the Bachchan family has been staying for over two decades. However, a source close to the couple ended the speculations about the same, and in an interview with the Deccan Chronicle, stated that Aishwarya and Abhishek would not move into their swish space. The source said:
‘Abhishek is way too close to his parents to even think about moving out.’
Abhishek Bachchan was attracted to Aishwarya Rai’s affinity to her parents
The source further added that Aishwarya Rai was more than comfortable living with her in-laws at their family home. Speaking along the same lines, the source stated that this was something that Abhishek admired in his wife, as the latter had an affinity with her parents. The source was quoted as saying:
‘One of the things that drew Abhishek to Aishwarya was her affinity to her parents.’
Reason behind Abhishek Bachchan calling off his wedding with Karisma Kapoor
Putting an end to the rumours about Aishwarya and Abhishek moving away from Jalsa, the source added Aishwarya has never really wanted to move out. Moreover, the report also stated that when Abhishek was engaged to Karisma Kapoor in 2002, the latter wanted him to move out of his parents’ home, which made the actor call off their marriage. However, with Aishwarya, the case was entirely opposite. The source revealed:
‘When he was engaged to Karisma Kapoor in 2002, the relationship came apart mainly because she wanted him to move out of his parents’ home and live separately after marriage. She understands what it means to be close emotionally and physically to your parents, and she never demanded a home away from Jalsa.’
Netizens’ reaction to Aishwarya and Abhishek’s decision of not to move out of Jalsa
As soon as the old report resurfaced online, amid the ongoing reports of the troubles in Aishwarya and Abhishek’s paradise, netizens reacted to the same. Taking to the comment section, one user penned, ‘This article seems to paint Karisma as demanding, when having your own place with your husband is a pretty bare minimum request. Joint families rarely work out. But I mean Abhishek seems set on his own values so both should have found their own match.’ Another commented, ‘At this level – just buying a new place doesn’t mean someone is going to move in there, investment is a major chunk of their spend anyhow.’
For the unversed, Aishwarya Rai tied the knot with Abhishek Bachchan in 2007, and they are blessed with a daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan.

3 Reasons Why Virat Kohli Is An Ideal Husband
In the tapestry of life, where moments are woven with threads of joy, sorrow, triumphs, and trials, there comes a rare instance when one thread shines brighter than the others, not because of its color or texture, but for the story it tells. This is the story of Virat Kohli, not the cricket maestro whose name echoes in stadiums worldwide, but Virat the man, the husband, whose life off the pitch resonates with a different kind of applause. In a world where the spotlight often blurs the lines between persona and person, Kohli stands as a beacon of normalcy, a reminder that beneath the layers of fame and fortune lies a human heart, beating in rhythm with the ordinary. His journey with Anushka Sharma, captured in fleeting moments like a simple stroll in London, where he holds shopping bags with the same ease he holds a cricket bat, speaks volumes. It’s not just about the act but the sentiment behind it – a silent declaration of partnership, equality, and love. Here, in these unscripted moments, we find Virat Kohli, not the icon, but the ideal husband, a role he plays with as much passion as he does his sport, reminding us all of the beauty in simplicity, the strength in support, and the power of love in its most human form. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma: Respect and Equality Virat Kohli’s relationship with Anushka Sharma is often cited as a model of respect and equality. In a world where gender roles can still dictate behavior, Kohli has consistently demonstrated that he views his partnership with Anushka as one of equals. Whether it’s publicly supporting her career moves or sharing household responsibilities, his actions speak volumes about his belief in partnership. The recent video of him carrying shopping bags while Anushka crosses the road is just one of many instances where he’s shown that he values her comfort and convenience as much as his own. This mutual respect is a cornerstone of any ideal relationship, making Kohli a role model for many. Support and Encouragement Kohli’s support for Anushka’s career and personal growth is another testament to his ideal husband status. From attending her movie premieres to publicly praising her work, he’s always been her biggest cheerleader. This support extends beyond professional life; Kohli has been vocal about how Anushka’s influence has helped him grow personally and professionally. His acknowledgment of her role in his life, especially in managing his mental health and career, highlights a deep, supportive partnership where both individuals uplift each other. This level of support is rare and deeply admired. Privacy and Protection In an era where every aspect of a celebrity’s life is under scrutiny, Kohli’s efforts to keep his family life private, especially concerning their children, Vamika and Akaay, show a protective side that resonates with the ideal husband archetype. He and Anushka have made conscious decisions to shield their children from the media glare, reflecting a commitment to their family’s well-being over public perception. This protective stance, coupled with his public displays of affection and respect towards Anushka, paints a picture of a man deeply committed to his family’s happiness and security. Virat Kohli’s portrayal as the ideal husband isn’t just about grand gestures; it’s about the consistent, everyday choices he makes that prioritize his relationship with Anushka. His actions reflect a modern understanding of marriage where respect, support, and privacy are paramount. While no relationship is perfect, Kohli’s approach to his marriage sets a benchmark for what many aspire to in their own partnerships. His journey with Anushka, filled with mutual growth, respect, and love, continues to inspire fans and followers worldwide, making him not just a cricketing legend but a figure of admiration in the realm of personal relationships.
