Shah Rukh Khan was seen attending Siddharth Anand’s birthday party in Mumbai amid reports that he is about to travel to USA for eye surgery.

Shah Rukh Khan, who was rumoured to have flown out to the USA for an eye surgery, was spotted in Mumbai on Wednesday evening. Shah Rukh was clicked entering a restaurant in the city as he arrived to attend director Siddharth Anand’s birthday party. The Pathaan actor was dressed casually with sunglasses and was seen carrying a satchel, which has become a part of his personal style lately.

In one of the videos taken by the paparazzi, it appeared that SRK was entering the restaurant through the back gate. The photographers followed him until he entered through what looked like the kitchen. The actor was surrounded by security personnel and did not pose for the photographers.

Later, Shah Rukh was spotted leaving the restaurant. His entourage of cars was clicked as he left the restaurant.

A few days ago, it was rumoured that Shah Rukh Khan was flying out of the country to get an eye surgery. However, his team did not issue any statement about the same.

SRK is yet to start shooting for his next film with Sujoy Ghosh. Titled The King, the film also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Suhana Khan. While Shah Rukh is yet to officially announce the film, Amitabh Bachchan had previously congratulated son Abhishek as he joined the cast. Amitabh tweeted “All the best” to Abhishek along with a news clip of the announcement.

The film is being co-produced by Siddharth Anand, and directed by Sujoy Ghosh. This will be Shah Rukh’s first collaboration with Sujoy.
