After ‘Vada Pav girl’ Chandrika Dixit’s exit, her “elder brother” and senior journalist Deepak Chaurasia’s journey on the Anil Kapoor-hosted Bigg Boss OTT 3 has come to an end.
Bigg Boss OTT 3 marked its first month on Sunday and in the past 30 days, six contestants have been evicted from the show. Following the exit of “Vada Pav girl” Chandrika Dixit, journalist Deepak Chaurasia’s journey on the show has also come to an end. Although Deepak was a senior member in the house and was respected by many, he also garnered a fair share of dislike.
While some contestants felt that Deepak Chaurasia didn’t contribute much to the game, they were also seen discussing how Bigg Boss had to organise special activities like news debates and bulletins to get Deepak involved in the game. Unfortunately, Deepak’s game was significantly impacted by an injury that often kept him confined to bed rest. However, there was also a certain section of the housemates who felt that Deepak was running the entire house by lying on that bed, dubbing him as a mastermind and also quite manipulative.
While Deepak shared some stories about his journey and career in the house, he didn’t quite fulfil his promise of being uncensored on the Anil Kapoor-hosted show. In an exclusive interview with Indianexpress.com, the senior journalist had claimed that he would make major revelations and expose people during his time on the show. “I can hide lots of secrets within me. In these 31 years, I have many secrets buried inside me. If I start revealing them, the biggest of people will have a problem with it. But I will expose a few discrepancies that I have gone through in the journalism world. I will speak things with facts, but they will create lots of controversies. I will be uncensored. I will tell the world how a story is made, and what goes behind it. In 31 years, I have censored myself a lot, but now I will uncensor all of it in a few weeks. I will share a new story every day,” Deepak had said.
One of Deepak’s biggest fights in the house was with Wild Card contestant Adnaan Shaikh. Otherwise, he shared a good rapport with everyone on the Bigg Boss show.
