Expressing his gratitude to Big B, Nag said, “I know you don’t like this, but this is one of the few chances we have to thank you for your patience. The whole country, whoever I speak to, but they say it’s such a pleasure to see you in that avatar. I did a bunch of interviews, and everybody just said, ‘Thank you for giving us this Amitabh Bachchan’.”
Replying to the filmmaker, the actor said, “I just feel that the compliment isn’t to me, it’s to the concept and the character. It speaks volumes about the film. It’s not a compliment about a certain star, and they liked their performance, and so on and so forth… When they compliment a Prabhas or a Deepika, they’re actually complimenting the concept of the director, Nagi, who was able to conceive and put together this story.”
