In a recent interaction with Zoom Entertainment, Emraan Hashmi was asked about the popularity of the Reels of his appearance on the show, Koffee With Karan. To this, the actor said that one ends up making enemies. When asked about him not attending shows anymore, Emraan said that these shows are too much to handle.
Later on, Emraan went on to add that if he will again grace the Koffee couch, he will end up messing things up again. He further added that he doesn’t have anything against any people, and all he ever wanted was to win the hamper. Emraan said:
“If I go on Koffee with Karan again, I’ll make a mess of things again. I’ll probably be worse-off in the rapid-fire round than I was before. I don’t have anything against these people. I just wanted to win the hamper. And then you say weird things.”

Further, in the show, Emraan said that his uncle, Mahesh Bhatt was able to buy a Rs. 40 crores penthouse in Bandra because of the former’s hit film, which he starred for the filmmaker. When he was asked if his character in his upcoming movie, Showtime, was similar to how he acted during his 2014 KWK episode, Hashmi said:
“I am playing a fictional character here (‘Showtime’), who calls a spade a spade. Talking about Koffee With Karan, well I had to bear the brunt for it for quite some time for really calling a spade a spade. You know what, when that rapid-fire round happened, Karan had cut the shot, and he just looked around on the set and everyone was dumbfounded. He asked ‘Can you actually keep this (Emraan’s answer)?’ And a couple of people behind the camera said ‘Yes’.”

As he was blown away by Aishwarya’s grace after watching Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, he went outside the actress’ van and waited for one and a half hours just to watch her. Emraan recalled:
“I have been starstruck by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Actually, I had never done this before. I waited outside her van when I was an assistant director with my cousin Mohit Suri. He was also an assistant at that time. I waited for atleast for one-and-a-half-hours. I had not done that before. It was ridiculous.
