The episode dates back to the time when Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai were all set to tie the knot. During the same, Karan Johar talked to Jaya Bachchan about the feeling of becoming a mother-in-law and remarked that she would have Aishwarya Rai to take some of the burdens off her shoulders. KJo said:
“Now you’ll be sharing some of the issues with your daughter-in-law. There will be Ash, who will come and take some of the burdens off your shoulders.”
Responding to the same, Jaya Bachchan gave an affirmative response and said that she was looking forward to sharing her burden with Aishwarya Rai. Jaya was heard saying:
“Hopefully. I am hoping that she will take a lot more than just ‘some.”

However, it looked like Shweta Bachchan was unhappy with her mother’s remark about sharing her burden with her daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai, and she instantly reacted to it. Shweta looked off, and she quickly warned Jaya not to do so, as it might look scary and intimidating. Shweta said:
“Don’t do that mom. It’s scary and intimidating. Slowly ease her into it. It’s not that hard.”
