When all of this conversation had blurred, Deepika again called for massive trolling after miscommunication about her dating life on KWK 8 recently.

This has sparked a massive debate on the internet about how one shouldn’t be as unsure as Deepika in a relationship but absolutely sure like her husband-actor Ranveer Singh. Soon after this online flak, several students from UP’s Banaras Hindu University mocked Deepika’s past relationships in a stand-up comedy.

The video featured students playing Deepika’s ex-boyfriends Ranbir Kapoor, Yuvraj Singh, Nihar Pandya and Siddharth Mallya.

This didn’t go down well with netizens and they shared their thoughts on this being distasteful. One user said, “Okay, now this is extremely offensive. @deepikapadukone needs to take action against them.” Another added, “This is such a shameful activity done by BHU, legal action should be taken. This is unbearable…”

The third one commented, “It’s disgusting and shameful. How did the authorities allow this? Indian men are so pressed with a woman who is richer than them and talk openly about her dating life. @deepikapadukone just take some action girls. Where is this generation heading towards ??”

In 2018, Deepika married her co-star in many films Ranveer Singh at Italy’s Lake Como in an extremely private affair.

The couple fell in love on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ramleela and dated for six years until they tied the knot. Recently during their appearance on Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan season 8, the duo shared their dreamy wedding video which was awaited by fans for years.

What did Deepika say on KWK 8 that made her suffer a massive flak?

In the show’s premiere episode, Deepika said, “I wanted to be single for a while because I had come from difficult relationships. I was going through a phase where I said ‘I just don’t want to be attached, don’t want to be committed’. And I had fun! And then he comes along, so I didn’t commit, until he proposed to me.”

“There was no commitment as such. Even if we were technically allowed to see other people, we would just keep coming back to each other.”
