Dolly Parton is Miley Cyrus’ godmother and has been a positive influence throughout her life. They even performed a mashup of their songs on New Year’s Eve.
Parton has been supportive of Cyrus’ career, but won’t eat anything cooked by her because she finds it tasteless due to Cyrus’ various diets.
Parton recently released a rock album featuring Cyrus, among other legendary artists.
She also praised Cyrus’ single “Flowers” from her album Endless Summer Vacation, calling her a great singer and songwriter.
Parton prefers Southern breakfasts with eggs and whatever she feels like adding at the moment.
National treasure Dolly Parton might be an honorary godmother to Miley Cyrus, but don’t expect her to eat “much of anything” the “Flowers” singer cooks.
According to Parton, the two stars have vastly different tastes in food, and that’s because Cyrus has tried a few diets that leave “good ol’ food like meatloaf” off the menu of options.

Parton talked to Insider about her relationship with Cyrus, revealing she doesn’t ask her goddaughter to cook for her.
“I doubt I’d eat much of anything that Miley cooks ’cause it would have no taste,” she laughed.
“Even if she cooked me something, I’m sure I’d have to doctor it up a little for myself,” she added. “I would have to have some bacon grease.
