Gautam Gambhir’s Demands and Major Updates Related to Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, and KL Rahul

Gautam Gambhir has a specific demand regarding the ODI matches: he wants senior players like Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Virat Kohli, and Ravindra Jadeja to be available for the series. Given that there will be a six-week gap after the T20 World Cup, Gambhir believes these players will be well-rested and won’t need any further rest.
On the other hand, according to reports, Hardik Pandya might not be available for the three ODIs due to personal reasons. He has already informed the BCCI about his unavailability for these matches. However, he will be available for the three T20Is, and in fact, he will be captaining the Indian team for these matches. For the three ODIs, it is likely that KL Rahul or Shubman Gill will captain the team.
Additionally, the Duleep Trophy is about to start in the domestic circuit, and the BCCI wants the Test specialists to be available for it. Senior players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Jasprit Bumrah have the choice to either play or rest as they see fit.
