‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is aiming to surpass ‘Jawan’ by the end of its fourth weekend in India. The film recorded its lowest single-day business in India on the third Monday. The Prabhas-starrer earned a total of Rs 584.45 crore nett after 19 days at the domestic box office with Rs 4.3 crore nett on its third Monday, July 15.

The Shah Rukh Khan-starrer minted Rs 640.25 crore nett in its overall run at the Indian box office and ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is expected to go past this figure now. The film’s performance has been extraordinary in all the markets, but the way it performed in the Hindi belt is noteworthy. The Nag Ashwin-directorial has earned around Rs 257.1 crore nett business in 19 days from the Hindi market alone. This is just slightly behind the business from the Telugu market where the film collected Rs 267.1 crore in 19 days, reported the trade website sacnilk.
