Nick Jonas revisits the day he proposed to Priyanka Chopra in a romantic post

Singer Nick Jonas shared a picture from the day he proposed to actor Priyanka Chopra for marriage. He thanked her for accepting his proposal.

American singer Nick Jonas proposed to Indian actor Priyanka Chopra on July 20, six years ago. Remembering the special day, Nick shared a picture of himself with Priyanka and thanked her for saying ‘yes’.

In the photo, Priyanka is seen holding Nick’s hand and showing off her engagement ring. While the singer is smiling at the camera, Priyanka’s face is hidden behind their hands. “I asked the most amazing woman in the world to marry me 6 years ago today. Thank you for saying yes (sic),” Nick captioned the photo.

Fans of the couple gushed over Nick’s romantic post for his wife. One of them wrote, “What a surprise this post OMG (sic).” Another added, “Okay, this is everything I’m sobbing I love y’all (sic).” A fan also wrote, “6 years of eternity. You both are incredible together, such an inspiration of love and companionship. We love you!”

Priyanka married Nick Jonas in 2018. Nick had closed down a Tiffany store to buy Priyanka an engagement ring. According to Hollywood Reporter, the ring’s cost was around Rs 2.1 crore.

In an earlier interview with Vogue Arabia, Priyanka was asked about the most stunning jewellery she has received. She said, “If I don’t say my engagement ring, my husband (Nick Jonas) will kill me. Kidding!”

She continued, “I have to say it was my engagement ring because it was unexpected, and I’m very sentimental about the jewellery that I wear. It’s always associated with memories for me, so I’d definitely say that.”

Priyanka and Nick got married in Christian and Hindu traditions at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur, on December 1 and 2, 2018. They hosted two wedding receptions, one in Delhi and another in Mumbai.
