Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, one of Bollywood’s most celebrated couples, have long captivated fans with their dynamic persona and on-screen chemistry. The couple, happily married and parents to their wonderful daughter Aaradhya, recently found themselves back in the headlines. Their separate arrivals at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding sparked a wave of speculation about the state of their relationship. This curiosity only intensified when Abhishek liked a social media post that discussed the difficulties of divorce, leaving fans and the media buzzing with questions.
In the midst of this frenzy, an old interview of Aishwarya Rai has resurfaced, providing a rare and candid glimpse into the dynamics of their relationship. Speaking to Filmfare, Aishwarya touched upon the one thing that often leads to disagreements between her and Abhishek, though she was initially hesitant to divulge too much.
At first, Aishwarya played coy, suggesting that their arguments were a private matter. “No one would want to know,” she said with a smile. But as the conversation progressed, she opened up about the challenges they face as a couple with strong, opinionated personalities.
“We both have very strong, opinionated personalities, and we’re still learning the difference between arguing and discussing,” Aishwarya explained. “We’ve been generously given very strong genes, so we inherently have strong personalities. There’s a fine line between arguing and discussing, and we’re still discovering what that line is. So, we discuss a lot—politely put, probably argue—but…”
The couple, who has been married since 2007, is known for their deep love and respect for each other. However, like any relationship, they too have their moments of conflict and disagreement.
On the work front, Abhishek Bachchan will next be seen in Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘King’, wherein he will portray an antagonist. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, on the other hand, was last seen in Ponniyin Selvan: II.
