In an interview with ABP News, ace filmmaker, Mani Ratnam’s actress-wife, Suhasini Maniratnam was asked about her relationship with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. To this, she called the PS II actress ‘a genuine person’ and mentioned that the latter always makes her happy. Suhasini said:
“When I see Aishwarya, I feel really happy. I know her personally, and while many see her for her beauty, I see her as a genuine person. She possesses qualities that the public may not always see.”
Further, Suhasini added that Aishwarya cares for people around her. Thus, comparing Aishwarya with ‘Florence Nightingale’, Suhasini also mentioned how the former used to look after her close ones, if they become ill or need help.
For the unversed, Florence Nightingale was the founder of modern nursing and served as a manager and trainer of nurses during the Crimean War. In Suhasini’s words:
“For example, if you become ill, she’ll be the first to come and take care of you. She’ll provide advice on what to eat, and she has that caring nature. Aishwarya Rai is like Florence Nightingale.”
