Here’s how Shah Rukh Khan comforted Juhi Chawla after her mother’s death

Shah Rukh Khan was found to be the most comforting person for Juhi Chawla when her mother passed away. Juhi Chawla, on multiple occasions, has referred to Shah Rukh Khan as her friend, as after the incident, Shah Rukh Khan made sure Juhi was never alone. In an interview, Juhi Chawla recalled how Shah Rukh was a “constant presence” in these times.
When Juhi Chawla was filming her movie ‘Duplicate,’ her mother passed away in Prague. Juhi drained herself in work to cope with the loss of her mother. Juhi shared, “Shah Rukh was with me when we were there. And I remember just being totally devastated. And to try and forget about it, I would just jump into work so that… And Shah Rukh would try and make us all laugh, like he always does, he does it to everybody, and he would just make sure that I was around and he’d keep it all happy and stuff and that’s how I got by,” she shared.

In an interview, Juhi Chawla shared that Shah Rukh Khan knows the pain of losing a parent. Since it was relatable to him, he made sure all was taken care of when it happened to his friend Juhi. She said, “He was the one who consoled me. He knew the pain of losing a parent and tried to make me laugh and forget the sorrow.”
